As one who was a very short-time altar boy about 70 years ago, and as one who completed two years of High School Latin at about the same time, I have no idea what ditat deus means. But, somewhere in the foggy recesses of my brain, I remember (maybe from a crossword puzzle) that the term is the Arizona state motto, and means something like “God Provides”.
However, I seriously doubt those words appear on the calendar in the cafe – sizz is just trying to get us old folks to dig out the magnifying glass and waste prescious minutes on a useless search.
I’m sticking with the Oklahoma city area.
Cheers, John
I think it’s in Bowling Green. See the clue in the upper left corner?
Boys?
To me it doesn’t look real. The wagon wheel is the same size as the sombreros, the seat are up too high, where do you put your legs? It just looks like a set or a museum display.
The “seats” are actually the back of a backed stool, so there is plenty of leg room
Ok, I see that now but it still doesn’t look like a real place just a display of what an old time southwest diner might look like.
I don’t think a restaurant in Arizona or New Mexico would be serving Louisiana green sauce.
Evidently none of you boys has ever been an alter boy……or went to a Catholic High school and had to take Latin to get out of the 9th grade…lol
the restaurant we are looking at is definitely in Arizona…and the clue is ” ditat Deus” it’s there in the picture bigger then S–T ……. AL da Mayor our old school teacher ….tell them what it means AL
I say New Mexico, check the Sombreros on the wall.
Also it’s about 5 to eight, which definitely takes place in New Mexico twice every 24 hours![;)]

it is 5 to eight in the morning to be exact, and that definately happens only once a day in NM
My take is the place is being robbed, all the customers have been herded into the walk-in, how else to explain the toast getting cold?
Either that or a disgruntled ex line cook has called in a bomb threat and the place has been cleared out to check
Sorry
There is nothing in the picture that gives it away for me. I blew it up and couldnt read the business license or any of the postcards and the reflection on the Menu is too glared.
It is or was still open recently the $5 bill tacked to the wall is the new design.
Arizona is a good guess with the 2 styles of hot sauce
the one post card is from the grand canyon and the other shows a gentleman with cattle
Sorry I cant name it for you.
Are we talking about time travel? Or cashing in this 1 mil?
A pre smoked turkey works well in the Orion. That is not to say that other things do not.

Good luck Chewer! Time travel could be poosible though? That was a crazy show. I liked the tornado of bills they had.
So it’s 1 mil if you win? Are we all gonna split that? But… you might have to write an essay. About what???

About the Orion Cooker, what else is there?[:D]
