I’m not a fan of OSU or PSU, but PSU didn’t get screwed at all. They lost two games, and in one of them, got absolutely thrashed by Michigan by 39 points. OSU only lost once.
Maybe from a strict standpoint of winning the conference championship, Penn State should have been in. But OSU is clearly the better team, and I’d rather watch the 4 best teams play for the National Championship.
I was trying to fly out of Raleigh. Three flight changes and six hours later, I left the ground.
Weather is better here.
The Army-Navy game was the first college game I’ve watched this season.
Truth be known I tuned in to see the flyover of F-35’s, an import from the Republic of Texas.
But the game was interesting proof of the one irrefutable truth in football:
You can’t score without the ball!
I’m so sad for you. You missed some exciting games this season. [:(]
The NC State-Noter Dame game was epic. They should play more football in hurricane conditions.
Speaking of – Were you in NC during the storm?
After the way they beat Wisconsin, PENN STATE should in the Final Four!
If that happens, who goes to the Rose Bowl? OSU, since they beat both UW and UM? Or UW, because they made it to the championship game?
As posted in #72 above, PSU got screwed but the Rose Bowl is a good consolation game and should be one of the best ones of all the bowl games. However, it’s creating a problem for me. My son’s an AVID Penn State fan and my Daughter’s a USC Grad. So I’m the family referee!
Sure you can. SAFETY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or from the other side of those Cutler throws, we are used to hearing “And there is your dagger!”
Given that LSU’s final offensive play occurred as they were driving for the potential winning score in Lambeau Field, it’s not much of a stretch to call that interception…Cutleresque.
As a lifelong Bears fan it pains me to say it, but certainly some of the lowest moments of his career in Chicago have occurred in Green Bay (last year’s spoilage of the Bert Farve Love-Fest excluded).

Wisconsin over LSU……..boom
I do what I can.
Oops, I meant State University of Ohio (not to be confused with THE Youngstown State University).
USC 21
‘BAMA 17
How’d that work out for you?
At halftime of the UW-LSU game I emailed a Louisiana friend of mine and asked him if Les Miles would be fired immediately afterward or if he’d keep his job until he stepped off the return flight to Baton Rouge. If properly distributed, the giant steamer his team laid on the Lambeau Field turf yesterday should eliminate the need for any additional fertilization until sometime in 2018.
Thank you for raising the level of discourse at Roadfood.
Well, Penn State will be going to the Rose Bowl and Ohio State (there is no University of Ohio) goes to the Fiesta play Clemson before going on to the Championship game to beat Alabama — again.
ARMY – NAVY 2016
NOW THAT’S COLLEGE FOOTBALL AT IT’S FINEST
Not if you prefer modern offense…[;)]
“Modern Offense” is offensive.[:(!]
