I remember when I decided there was no Santa. The coolest part was realizing how I’d let my mind cover the logical gaps of how he makes it to every house, etc.

Next coolest part was letting my parents think I still believed in Santa for one more year.

I pretended to keep believing the whole tale, too. I think I may have been afraid that I would get fewer presents! Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, whatever they wanted – I was down with that. Anyway, I thought that it would make my parents happy. (it did)

What a great thing to do for your son.

My grandaughter who is eight still believes so we had to caution her sister who is 10 not to tell her. She did a great job in not doing so.

Though I still believe in Santa and I’m 58 years old!

We spent Christmas with our daughter’s family and 4-1/2 year old granddaughter. It was great putting out the cookies and milk for Santa and carrots on the porch for the reindeer. And I don’t know how many times I had to read Olivia Helps with Christmas. [:D] It was great. How many of you still look out the window on Christmas Eve hoping to glimpse Santa Claus, sleigh and reindeer? I still do. [:)]

    That’s sweet!

My kids believe because St. Nicholas of Myra was a REAL person! The spirit is still around.

They understand that the Santa’s we see today are the continuation of the legend that is St. Nicholas. So, no lying for us.

I can’t wait to see the movie that is coming out about St. Nick http://www.nicholasofmyra-movie.com/

"Yes, My Dear Virginia there is a Santa Claus"

Santa Claus is a state of mind, and as long as you believe, Santa will always exist.

    Isn’t that the truth!!!

My son is getting to the age (9 yrs old) that soon his friends will convince him that there is NO Santa Claus.

I always hate the period of a child’s life, they lose sight of the miracle and magic of Christmas. It truly is a sad time of life.

This year I was so worried that he would find out, his cousins all now know the "truth" about Santa, but coming into the last weeks he was still a believer.

Last week, I was busy at our annual Miracle on Main Street festivities, and Brandon wanted to come and see Santa and the Reindeers.

I had taken a break from inside Santa’s Workshop to cool off, and saw my wife and Brandon driving down the street towards the building.

I discreetly told "Artic Aaron" one of Santa’s reindeer elves, Brandon’s name before going inside.

Inside I told Santa and Mrs Claus Brandons description and name.

About 15 minutes later in walks my wife and Brandon, I saw him and waved, he waited his turn in line and when he was next….

    Christmas magic happened !!!

The little girl who was visiting Santa slid down off of his lap, then Santa turned towards Brandon and said "You’re next Brandon"

Brandon turned to my wife with BIG EYES…. "MOM HE KNOWS MY NAME!!"

Mrs Claus also called him by name and talked to him like they knew him. The kid was walking on air and in total disbelief that SANTA KNEW HIM.

and now the rest of the story

I got home after being at Santa’s Workshop all day, and I was met at the door.

Brandon was still going 10 miles a minute

"DAD… The elf with the reindeer, he knew who I was and called me by name! How did he know my name? Santa and Mrs Claus they knew me too!! How did Mrs Claus know my name?? Santa knew my name!!!!"

In talking to my wife she said he had not stopped talking about his visit with Santa and that HE KNEW HIM!!

    Ahh the magic of Christmas.

I hope each and everyone of you experience the magic this season.

Not every day you get Santa and Mrs Claus with 2 elves and 2 actual reindeer
