Here is another Wisconsin company with a price of $4 per pound for cheddar and $4.50 per pound for flavored cheese curds.
My brother lives about ten miles from Ellsworth and I was up there visiting last weekend. I stopped at the Creamery and bought some fresh curds and they were really squeaky and really delicious. I also bought some cajun flavored ones but haven’t tried them yet.
We have a local creamery in Palmer AK. that makes their own curds. Matanuska Creamery. They have lots of different flavors like chipotle, chive, salsa, and cheddar. I’m not sure if they ship though.
I dust them in flour and then deep fry on 375 degrees until crispy. Dunk in a little marinara sauce and Nirvana is achieved.
I live in Colorado but I sure miss my cheese curds from my Canadian days. I’ve been searching the internet high and low. I’m considering ordering some from the following website.
Have any of you ordered cheese curds via delivery to yourself? If so, do you have any suggestions?
North Dakota here. You can buy cheese curds in nearly every grocery store.
Cheese Curds in Colorado (or other states not up North)?
