JB, deep fried corn on the cob is awesome, there is a restaurant at Main Street and A1A in Daytona Beach called Hog Heaven that serves this, I have deep fried corn on the cob myself, no popping an easy fry, drop some dry corn on the cob into hot oil when the corn turns translucent it is done, good stuff. I agree with Rusty, frozen or fresh doesn’t matter but it has to be dry.You mentioned deep fried bacon, don’t fry it until it is dry and brittle, it is a great way to fill up the deep fryer, deep fried chicken wings in bacon grease, Slap Granny this is Good!!!!!
We enjoy your video’s

JB BOY, I thank you for sending the Cajun injecter and the "slap yo momma" seasoning, great stuff!
Stay strong, keep heating and cooling folk’s homes around Baton Rouge, thats important!
Pay attention boy, keep heating, cooling and cooking!

I have an old cookbook around with a trick for lamb or or pork chops. Take the seasoned chops and fry them in lard just long enought to seal in the juices. Then finish on the grill.
I wonder how JB’s frydaddy would do on a nice big veal chop. Ill bet it would be juicy.

I too regret that you did not make all three and invite me over [:p][;)]

JB… Your killing me here… Keep them recipes coming!
I have had the battered deep fried corn before and it was very very good. I have never had a deep fried PC that was not breaded although what JB did looked very good. I still think I would prefer it battered and spiced though.
Nice job JB

JB, I’ve fried corn before. It’s great. I think this is one dish where fresh is not best. I use frozen ears, thaw and pat dry, lower into hot oil. When they just begin to turn a light golden, pull em’.
This was a finest way to cook this, to hell with breaded, grilled ect…. I ate em with no sauce of any kind. I regret that I didn’t make all 3
