I’m in the airport right now, still savoring my amazing brunch yesterday at Commander’s. If you are still in New Orleans, head to Commander’s and yes, avoid Court of two sisters.
Adding to the excellent suggestions above …
The Gospel Brunch at the Praline Connection
Begue’s at the Royal Sonesta
Rib Room at the Royal Orleans
Palace Cafe on Canal Street
I would avoid The Court of Two Sisters as it’s seen better days but is still lovely and a fair value for your money, but since I remember it as it once was ,,, it’s off my list .. [;)]
We have always enjoyed the jazz brunch at Commander’s Palace best of all. The menu is sensational and you will not eat again until late that night. Ask for the garden room……….it is lovely.
There is an outrageous Sunday brunch at the Royal Sonesta. BUT–Brennan’s is hard to beat.
The "Gospel Brunch" at the "House of Blues" on Sunday morning is a great experience (mimosas and all) but the food is adequate, not exactly outstanding. But they rush you out after the performance to get ready for the next "set".
Brennans
call for a reservation
have a steak with your eggs
I agree……..breakfast at Brennan’s is very special, very expensive and worth the experience at least once in your life.

I haven’t been to New Orleans in a number of years, but I could not ever pass up Breakfast at Brennan’s. Ah, the eggs Sardou, the Banannas Foster.
