    Brisket (and Ribs) U

I’ve been getting PR releases from them for years on one of my blogs. Now, they’re offering virtual classes. I’ve never been, know no one who has, but there are lots of press reviews to check if your interested.

Click on Virtual Private events under the Private Events tab at the top of the web page.

Here’s the press release I received by email:

Media are invited to come to our new studio and experience a virtual cooking class with the participants on ZOOM! We are hosting team building and networking events for companies, and private events for friends and family, from the comfort of our students’ homes! It is lots of fun!

These classes provide a way to stay connected to family and friends, and also offer great team building and networking opportunities for companies.

Editor note: If you are a media outlet that would like to attend a class, contact Gina Covell at [email protected] (co not com) and we can give you a link to the class.

HOUSTON–August 10, 2020–You may not be in the room, but the new BrisketU virtual classes will make you feel like you are! Backyard Pitmasters LLC has taken its wildly popular Backyard Pitmaster classes, BrisketU and RibsU online to teach students how to choose, prep and cook, right from their homes.

“We have hosted virtual classes for large organizations such as Home Depot, HEB, GE, Dominos, law firms, oil companies, hospitals and construction companies, that have been using our online classes to keep employees ‘together’ and motivated during COVID,” said Backyard Pitmasters co-owner Mike Albrecht. “Some companies have been using budgets that usually go towards entertaining clients at sporting events and fancy lunches, for virtual entertaining like BrisketU, SeafoodU, RibsU and TurkeyU.”

“This pandemic has given Backyard Pitmasters an opportunity to try a new approach to our popular classes. We created a studio and started our online program with customized interactive corporate events on Zoom. Our renowned professional pitmasters have already taught more than 1,000 students in two months. It’s been so successful that we are opening up more dates to offer these online classes as private team building and networking events for even moe companies, employees and customers, as well as private events for groups of family or friends.”

Registrants will still receive the famous pitside pocket guide digitally and will receive a BrisketU Backyard Pitmaster “diploma” after completing the class.
Virtual private classes are live on http://www.brisketu.com. Each time slot is live, fully interactive on the Zoom platform, and covers all the tricks, tips, tools, and techniques future pitmasters need to know to smoke true Texas style BBQ.
