I knew a weirdo who once said he found four of the Brady Bunch kids very attractive.[}:)]

I think it was several reasons. I would go at lunch time with others, and order off the luncheon menu and it would take forever for our orders to arrive (may be poor management). The wait staff left a lot to be desired in that they were slow to take your orders and didn’t seem to be "on the ball". I thought the quality of the food was so, so. I tried several different items on the menu, but was not pleased with any. The fries were tasteless. I also think that as always location, location, location is a big factor in a restaurant, and our Beef O’Brady’s was located about 2 miles from our "Restaurant Row" and was hard to find (may be they should have had a better sign) and it always looked dark and gloomy. My son (who always ordered the same thing – wings, thought they were pretty good). I guess it boils down as I said before to poor management.

    SassyGritsAL,
That’s interesting, could you give a bit more about why you thought it didn’t work out. Poorly Run? Bad waitstaff/bad attitudes? Not in the right location (too many other bars/not accessable/not enough people? Ugly area? Ugly patrons (loud or trashy)? etc ???

I agree the menu was not the best I’ve ever seen, but what I thought was decent were some of the beer prices (happy hour drafts were .99cents) and the pleasant seating area with all the windows … and the fairly pleasant patrons (Sun City is near St. Pete’s … lots of older folks and not a lot of problematic young drinkers).

I was in Sun City for over a month and visited Beef’s about 10 or so times for food or beverage (there wasn’t much else in the immediate area) … but thought it an attractive concept.
Actually … we’ve been kicking around looking into a franchise.

Any further opinions would be much appreciated! 🙂

    I pass one whenever I’m driving Sebring/Orlando on 27.

I’ve never been inclined to stop … I figure the gimmicky-er the name the more dissapointing the fare.

Our Beef O’Brady’s here went belly up. I went to it about 3 times and I wasn’t impressed with the menu, and I though the prices for what you got were a little high. Kids seemed to like it though (guess it was the game machines in the back).

We have a Beef O’Bradys here (far west of Chicago), never been to it and I did not know it was a chain, I was always a little put off by the name. [xx(]

The "cheesesteaks" are pretty good but are low on the "steak" part. Last time I checked it was around $7.00 for about 4 oz. of meat. Of course, they never heard of a "cheesewit". Too much flash & not enough bang for moi.

Beef-O’s started w/ 1 location in the Tampa suburbs (Brandon) about 10 or 12 years ago and is now just about everywhere in the Tampa metro area. It has now spread to numerous locations throughout Florida. Nice family/sports bar atmosphere where you’ll often see as many little leaguers as serious bar crowd types. Excellent Buffalo Wings, onion rings and a host of original sandwich creations–all fairly priced. Every Friday night at all Beef-O’s locations they have 25c wing night from early afternoon on. You can do some serious damage to your waistline if wings are your thing. So, yeah, Sonny F, you definitely lucked onto an above-average Roadfood find. [8D][8D]
