I’m not much for frozen custard but that cone’s darn near a work of art!!

For those of you who live near one of these shops, I hope you enjoy a special treat today!

I’m no where near a real frozen custard stand, but I’ll re-post a photo I took at Carousel in Warrenton, VA, in the spirit of the day. [:)]  It was a medium size.

    love2bake-

And it’s only a medium?  That is one great looking cone.  Reminds me of the large cone I had at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Belts-Soft-Serve/116880881724494 Belt’s Soft Serve in Stevens Point, WI last summer.

[/p][p]FYI for baseball fans who may be attending, the Indians are hosting the Giants May 1-3.  I know this was mentioned before but I figured a reminder couldn’t hurt.[;)][/p][p]

[/p][p]Yeah, as of right now we’re planning on doing the Friday game.[/p][p]

I know I said I was gonna bow out of the planning, but opting for the ballgame on Friday could be a mistake.  If Sokolowski’s is going to be part of your itinerary (and it absolutely, positively should be), they only serve dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.  You could do Sokolowski’s on Saturday, but you’ll probably want to do Balaton that night as your big finisher.[/p][p] [/p][p]The obvious answer is to go to the Thursday night game, but unfortunately, there is no Thursday night game.  See, you thought this was easy, didn’t you?[/p][p] [/p][p]Another scenario has us going to Balaton on Thursday and Sokolowski’s on Saturday.  If you go that route it will give me an excuse to visit Sokolowski’s twice on this Crawl.[/p][p] [/p][p]Buddy[/p]
