Here’s a recent link thats been posted.. A couple places will ship the dog to ya! (I’m not too happy with the webmaster though.. All my emails to him come back rejected, yet it is a worthy site!)..

Preacher Man… I like your quest for a decent hot dog! (I wont tell you about the button at top that says restraunts, nor to type in hot dogs in that search… Would be a total sin here considering the results will make ya drool..)..
No, they aren’t the best hot dogs I have ever had, but I still really like the place. Since they come in a sub roll, the meat to bread ratio is tilted too far for the bread. I correct this by always ordering a double (with two weiners). They also have very good shakes and you can mix two flavors in one shake. The bad thing about Ann’s is how crowded they get. And the ordering system is usually shouting what you want over others standing waiting for their food. The organized chaos of the place is similar to Dog House Sandwich Shop in Delaware. Oh, another reason for me to like Ann’s…..they have been around so long, it was a hangout for my mother when she was a teenager.
This place is nothing special. They deep fry the hot dogs, but the dog is not made for deep frying, and those sub rolls from H&S bakery taste like wet cardboard.
Anyone out there familiar with Ann’s Dari Creme in Glen Burnie, MD (12-15 miles south of Baltimore at jct of MD2/MD177/MD100)?
They have a footlong hotdog on a sub roll with homemade chili, mustard and onions that is to die for!!!
Hollyeats.com has a picture of the place, the food and the menu.
Oh, I wish I were about 1000 miles closer (we live in Des Moines, IA and serve as Senior Pastor of Westover Baptist Church)! When I saw the photos on Holly Eats.com, I started to salivate and could taste the single with everything!
Anyone out here in the midwest ever find a place that does a similar footlong on a subroll???
Or better, anyone in Baltimore ever want to bless a man of God with a "care package" of a couple of dozen Ann’s footlongs, shipped to Iowa? Or, I’d be so grateful for someone giving us a round-trip airline voucher or some frequent flyer miles for a trip to BWI airport and we could make this trip to "Mecca" in person, complete with coolers, ziplock freezer bags, aluminum foil and duct tape for the coolers).
Craving a special footlong out here in Pork/Corn land!
