Congrats, from a hotel in Yakima, Washington.
Congrats from Florida Al, looking foward to the next 9K.
WOW!!! Congrats from the deep south!
Rouxdog, Al talks about food, travel, photos, trains and planes. Janet talks about life, but I don’t hear her online as often as I would like. I love them both equally.
I’m just curious if you hit 10K, you get to choose your ‘meat rating’?? (we have hamburgers, double chili cheeseburgers, filet mignons, but what about prime rib, smoked ‘Q, burnt tips, etc – oh, and the highest honor.. CHILI DOG!)…
Good going, my friend!!![:)]
Congrats Mayor! Wow… 9K.. I still remember reading these forums and you only had 90.
Congrats, Mr. Mayor. Glad to have been part of it.
AL THE MAYOR,has today posted his 9000th. comment on ROADFOOD!!!
This little haven of fun and sharing we come to is built around the steadfast friendships we work to build. AL, YOU ARE A BUILDER! I appreciate the travel books you generously sent me, as well as the several common life experiences, as well as all else.
A BIG SALUTE FROM ROUXDOG!!
PS. I suspicion some of your best comments are actually written by Janet.
Al, you are probably busting out of your overalls and need a larger hat. We’ll "size" you in the near future. I’m thinking seriously about a New Years resolution to be more, not totally, like you and Sundancer and avoid the squabbles. Then again I struggle(yawn) with that commitment.
Al, you know I value our friendship which has evolved. It is a joy to read the many congrats. you are receiving. For an old man you are doing well!
Well, that is amazing!!!!
Now I guess you are the Mayor of Roadfood, no?
Congrats, Mr. Mayor. it has been a pleasure to get to know you online and in person. I look forward to your next 9000 posts.
How cool is that!? It took me almost 4 years to post 1000! 9K, that is truly impressive and all those posts are so enjoyable[:)]
I bet Janet is happy for Al’s numerous posts – that way he’s not buggin’ her. But he’s my idol.
The Travelin Man
I would have guessed the hot dog forum. That must be #4!
Congratulations on post #9K. If there was a Roadfood Hall of Fame, you would be one of the inaugural inductees – probably with Arthur Bryant and Arnold from Happy Days (hey…we gotta have some celebrities).
Thanks for all you do.
