Sour Cream, lipton onion soup mix, tuna with oil drained, mix, let sit 1/2 hr. Freeto big scoops…yep that works.
Frito Pie the Disappearing thread ….. hmmmm LMAO
its all good though[;)]
Isnt it called a walking taco also?….Russ
Dive, the first time I said "I think my PawPaw may have invented this stuff back in the early 50s". It was only after more research that I left out the "think" and the "maybe".
Now, the question is… who invented the bag deal???
Well, if you’re going to post it twice, I will believe you. [}:)]
Ok, Fritos were invented in Texas. Frito pie was also invented in Texas ( only place you could get Fritos at the time ) by my grandfather Then someone??? ( not in Texas ) got the idea to sell a small bag of Fritos w/ chili poured in it, so folks could walk abound and eat it, at a baseball game… maybe??? Most folks in Texas eat Frito pie from a bowl or plate, and buy Fritos in the large bags!

I think that is the tradional, but I have never had it like that.
God knows who touched that bag before me! Although,, I wont be eating the bag..[;)]
It went bye bye to the deleted thread cemetary, I am assuming….. and Hopefully this one wont.
Beats me. I did a google pic search and there seemed to be an equal number bag and bowl. All the pictures were really nice. I would not turn any away. Well, almost any…I saw this pic yesterday that turned my stomach.
What happened to this discussion yesterday?….Russ
Than bag thing is not a Texas thing. I think someone at a baseball game started that. Ahhh, back to the history quest….
I think most restaurants leave the beg out these days for state health regs. And you get more if it doesn’t have to fit in that little bag.
Is leaving the bag on the plate required? I think I’d prefer mine without…
