Hello all ,
Hot Dog Nation presents the list of establishments for the 5th Annual Jersey Hot Dog Tour scheduled for Sat Sept 20th
John Fox has set the intinerary with some input from myself and those on the message boards.
Starting Point is Galloping Hill Inn in Union NJ for the 5th consecutive year
Plenty of free parking
Buses will depart at Noon from location
Attendees should arrive between 1100am and Noon.
The trip will include the following
Dees Truck , Roselle Park
The Windmill , Westfield
Mannys Texas Weiners , Union
Jimmy Buffs , East Hanover
Bubbas Dog House , Lyndhurst
Dees , The Windmill and Bubbas are new locations
Jimmy Buffs was a big hit last year and Jimmy himself was fantastic!!
Mannys was a big hit two and three years ago and Manny himself is expected to be onsite for us .
John will give reviews of each place , what to expect etc , .
Benzee, look for the e-mail I sent you.
I would also like to go to J’s Beef. They are the only place in the entire state that is serving an authentic Chicago Dog. THey also have authentic Chicago Beef. As for the itinerary, I’ve been to these places, and so have many of you. I don’t see anything wrong with revisiting the good ones. We will try to get a consensus and go from there.

We had a few that cannot make it . Akavar had two seats reserved and Mr Phil had four .
We are at 32 , and can go up to 40 .
Let me know if you are interested in coming by email or post on here .
Coney Island Lou is collecting for the Tour Shirts that look great !! The more orders he gets the lower the price goes!!
Listen to my radio show on Friday as we will be talking about the tour
Prime Time on Fridays 1230 – 3 pm on http://www.wtbq.com
I stopped at Js Beef when I visited Father and Son last week before they closed . Well worth the visit and a different type of Dog compared to the rest of the places.
We are leaving the intinerary to John , he has done a great job with picking the places .
I would put a vote in for J s Beef also .
Another for Syds of course.
I would also like to go to Mannys in Plainfield again . For those who were with us last year , we were treated like celebrities meeting Manny and his entire family .
Compare that with Tabatchnicks who were like " why are you here ?’ and " why are you doing this " , and you could see why Mannys is a must .
Benzee: I’m sad to report that Gail and I will be unable to join the September tour. We’re going to miss spending an afternoon with John Fox and all the rest of the hot dog lovers, but we do look forward to seeing you sometime soon at Soul Dog and Big W, and we will be on the October 4th tour to Troy.
Hey Brooklyn Bill,
Payment received for two . Thanks .Seafarer John got yours also .
Recent payments also include
Natalie Pisarcik for two
Bill M for two also
Doug " Bad Dog " Chuka
We are up to 35 on the list .
I’d like to stop at that place serving the Chicago style dogs. And of course, Syd’s.
Hello Harriet ,
That is too funny !!!
John Hughes got your check for the eight . All set to go .
John Fox is working on the intinerary and it should be set soon
Lou is designing the t shirt again this year . He did a great job with our radio show (www.wtbq.com 1230-2pm Fridays ) t shirt and we were able to wear them on our 2nd Anniversary Party . Thanks Lou.
I will add another for you .Got you now down for two
Sign up two seats for me and Gail.
As long as I can get a Galloping Hill fix and a great THW at any place John Fox chooses I’ll be a happy tourist.
Must’ve been when he went on that hot dog tour down the Yangtze River…
My check will be in the mail on Monday. Would like to add my bro-in-law.
Thanks, John Hughes
