Tony’s I-75 Restaurant
Review by: Roadfood Team
Conveniently located next to the interstate, Tony’s I-75 Restaurant specializes in all things bacon, especially the famous BLT that puts a full pound of bacon on the sandwich!
This place has been a Michigan institution for decades. Hunters stop by to stock up for cold tree stand weekends, as witnessed by the menu which includes chili and beef stew by the gallon and freshly baked bread by the loaf. More than anything else, though, it’s known for bacon.
What to eat at Tony’s I-75 Restaurant
The BLT is legendary, a pound or more of crisp-fried deliciousness between two thick slabs of homemade toast, with lettuce and tomato incidental. We shared scrambled eggs and a BLT. It was enough food for breakfast, lunch the next day, and a late-night snack. The portions are more than generous, and the desserts are delicious and huge.

Stopped in Tony’s today (May 7th 2023) for a carryout and ordered a turkey club, no tomato, no mayo. Imagine my surprise when I got home after driving over 100 miles and found that what I received was a just a bacon sandwich. Should have checked it before I left the restaurant. Only get up that way once or twice a year, so not much I can do about it.
