Omega Family Restaurant

Review by: Roadfood Team

Kitchener, Ontario has no shortage of restaurants; nonetheless, since it opened the Omega Family Restaurant has quickly become a favorite with many residents. Opened in June of 2006 by Sevdat and Taibe Balla, their restaurant experience has produced a top-notch family restaurant offering taste and value. Despite being open almost two years, it still looks like they just opened the doors; it is bright and spotless. Friendly, efficient staff greet you with a smile, and you are seated promptly. There are a large number of menu choices, and each meal is presented in an appealing manner.

What should I eat at Omega Family Restaurant?

Dinner specials include salad or a terrific homemade soup. There are several Greek-themed menu items. The portions are generous and often provide us with lunch the next day. Everything tastes fresh and is prepared by Sevdat and his kitchen staff to your liking. Taibe keeps the dining room humming, and the staff make sure your needs are met.

Breakfast is our usual Saturday routine and my bottomless cup of coffee is rarely allowed to sit empty. Lineups are common at popular breakfast and dinner times, but the wait is never very long. The meals have a real homemade taste; chicken picatta is very tender and the homemade pasta sauce is tangy and delicious. There are several dessert items but, frankly, we are usually too full to try them. All in all, a great choice for your family.
