LuLu’s Waterfront Grille
Review by: Roadfood Team
Waterfront family restaurant
Lulu’s Waterfront Grille is well-known to locals in the Ponte Vedra Beach area of Florida. It is a “family restaurant”; low-keyed and laid-back and ready to serve locals and visitors alike. The location on the Intracoastal Waterway adds to the dining experience – there’s a porch for those who like to eat and watch the boats go by.
What should I eat at Lulu’s Waterfront Grille?
The food quality is excellent, with good-sized portions. Be prepared to wait a while if arriving at peak weekend lunch and dinner times. But LuLu’s is worth any wait. The menu spans the full spectrum of seafood dishes. Intracoastal Shrimp, which is sautéed white shrimp in garlic sauce with mushrooms, scallions, tomato, and herbs is the favorite of many diners. Gator tail, oysters on the half shell, tropical slaw, conch fritters, hushpuppies, and fried local shrimp are among the menu items.
The details
The restaurant is open from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM daily. Happy hour (M-F) is from 4 to 7 PM and an all-day special each Monday ($2.00 Margaritas and Coronas). A Sunday brunch offers such dishes as eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, and Lulu’s French toast is a weekly feature. *Original Post by Cliff Stehle*
