Friendly Stop Cafe
Review by: Roadfood Team
Advertising itself as a cafe-diner-bistro-bar-pub-grill-tavern and hangout, the Friendly Stop Cafe offers a large diner menu that includes very swank dessert brought from the deluxe restaurant across the street, which is under the same management.
Friendly Stop Cafe advertises themselves as a cafe-diner-bistro-bar-pub-grill-tavern and hangout. It’s an older building that has a lot of charm, with room for about 20 at tables and another 15 or so at the bar.
What should I eat at Friendly Stop Cafe? The menu is pretty much the standard for a diner: burgers of different types, hot dogs, chicken, dinners and a kids menu. They also offer about 15 different appetizers, which are normally half-price between 2p-4p .Everything we ordered was very good, and items going to other tables looked good too. The desserts are made and brought over from the five-star restaurant across the street and are served Monday through Wednesday for only $2.00. They normally have three different cheesecakes and one other item. The slice of apple cinnamon cheesecake was so large that we split it and took the other piece home. This was the largest slice of cheesecake I’ve ever been served. The walls of the restaurant are covered in old personalized license plates from around the country and everyone was very friendly. *original post by Jim P.* |

The food is really good. The chicken wings and salad are good.
