Hey Guys and Gals,

Just wondering what you pay for insurance on the vehicle you use to tow your rig. I am asking this because my policy is up for renewal, and I think I might be paying too much or have too much coverage. I currently have progressive insurance and I pay $1900 a year for a $1,000,000 liabilty plan on my tow vehicle. (a 90’s Nissan Pathfinder) There is no collision coverage on that plan. I also pay for a $1,000,000 general business liability plan (with food poisoning coverage) for the vending cart itself. ($400 – which seems reasonable)

I was thinking of maybe lowering the coverage to $500,000 to try and save some money.

In any case, what kind of coverage do you carry and how much are you paying?

Thanks for any insight!

Trent
