I ask this full knowing that you only get out of something what you put into it.. LOL  Here is the story:

My name is John, I live in Tulsa, OK.  A friend of mine called to borrow some money.  He operates his own business, it is really slow and show no signs of turning around anytime soon.  I loaned him the money he needed to survive for now, with collateral and contract in tow.  LOL  He was talking to me about putting a hot dog, or Sabrett, cart outside his store front.  He met a gentleman that owns a cart and has been very successful with his cart in our small downtown area.  This gentleman can no longer be outside in the sun due to a skin affliction.  He agreed to sell his cart for 250/ month for 6 months and help him get started.  My friend does not have the money for this venture, so I asked to meet this guy and maybe a deal could be struck.

This guy is the ONLY vendor in town.  He has a following.  The local newspaper interviewed him and the advertising obviously didn’t cost him anything.  The folks around town miss him.  This is an opportunity.  When I met this man he was so excited, but had changed his mind about selling to my friend.  This guy went from a, “ho-hum” attitude to an attitude of, “I JUST WON THE LOTTERY!”, as he started talking about his Sabrett cart.  That kind of enthusiasm intrigues me.  I am a very outgoing peson.  I like people, and I love interacting wit people.

So now that this deal has went south, my friend has lost interest.  I just can’t let this go.  The stage is set in my opinion.  This guy was boasting 200 to 500 a day in gross sales from 11 to 2.  REALLY!?  WOW.  Is it really that fun and pleasureable?  This sounds WAY too good to be true!  So here I am looking for a folks with true honest real world experiences and support.  Should I or shouldn’t I?  I do have the finances to get started.  I have checked with the Health Dept locally.  The only thing I can see that might be an issue is the commisssary.  I am going to check and see if that is a county thing only.  It may just be Tusa, County and not the other county.

Anyway, sorry for being so long winded.  Just starting to do the resarch and due diligence.  Hope to hear from the seasoned folks on here.

John
