We’ve had Verizon landline and ‘net since we moved here 12 years ago. We were advised early this year that V wanted to sell out all of WV to Frontier communications. Frontier “services” the next county over. I hear a lot of complaints about their service from friends that live there.
 
So we and a whole lot of other people wrote and called our PUC and our state reps. Even though the total response to the PUC was overwhelmingly negative they still gave approval.
 
I’m working with my state rep to get them fired. (the PUC)
 
The change is supposed to happen 7/1/10, V has already started cutting over ‘net servers to F and causing a lot of problems. I was down for 48 hours this past week.
