I needed to run down to Jacksonville because of a work issue and when the wife realized there might be seafood we all loaded up for a day trip. The Roadfood reviewed Singleton’s Seafood Shack was fairly close by luckily. The dog was with us so it would be a truck seat lunch.

Just inside the door was a beautiful display of fresh fish and shrimp. The open kitchen is just behind the case.

These snapper looked tasty.

We started with a cup of Minorcan Chowder. This version was mild but still had a hint of the local Datil peppers.

We shared the combo of 3 choices with 2 sides. I chose Trigger Fish,Cobia, and Shrimp with collards and cheddar grits as sides. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned plus the serving size was huge. This fed both of easily.
