Wondering what type of marketing has worked for you guys. It APPEARS this deal I’ve been working on may actually happen.
This location has had 4 different concepts in it the last 10 years. To break that cycle, we need to lure people in to give us a try upon opening. With a very limited budget, here’s the plan:
*Social Networking-its free and lots of people use it these days.
*5000 direct mail postcards-My wifes business is on a barter network, so I have her barter dollars to use. We are using some on this. Gonna put the menu, location, web address, etc, and a coupon for $5 Off $25.
*We are strongly considering Groupon. We would basically break even after COG’s, and paying Groupon, but that site drives traffic.
*Doorstep Delivery-Its a delivery company that delivers restaurants to go food to businesses and homes. We have some big questions for these guys, but if they can satisfy our concerns, we’ll use it. We pay them 30% of the bill, but they advertise for us, and its exposure.
*hospitality runs-basically I’m gonna approach small businesses around my store and feed em lunch. Its just to get my food out and meet the people directly around me.
If y’all have experince with any of the above, or have additional ideas, plz let me know. We gotta start pretty fast so we’re open to almost everything.
Thanks.
