For the second Sunday in a row, I was on my deck and I heard a loud boom. This time I knew what it was. It sounded like a shot gun. Mamaw Smith and her neighbor share a transformer and a very unfortunate squirrel happen to hit the wrong spot and it sent him to his maker.

The first time last week at almost exactly the same time on Sunday, the same thing happened. That time power was out for six hours. This time it was only two hours.

I spoke to the repairman and he indicated that it happened several times a day.
