I was wondering if many people had heard of a small joint outside of Wilmington, North Carolina called Paul’s Place Famous Hot Dogs? My family used to stop there in the 60’s on the way to the coast. They had a special onion sauce that was out of this world. They didn’t serve chili on their hot dogs which is unheard of in this part of the country. I am from Burlington, North Carolina the home of Zack’s Hot Dogs which are the best with chili I have found. They serve a cheesedog that every "yankee" around talks about endlessly, just cheese no dog. I have eaten hot dogs all over the US as I was a long haul driver for 14 years.
