Has anyone built a food truck from a E-450 or E-350 pop-top?
I sell gelato at the local farmers market & currently use a small open trailer and my trusty Prius to haul my freezer to the market. Problem is that I have to load and unload the chest freezer as the farmer markets don’t want a food truck there.
I thought I’d get a shuttle van with a wheelchair lift to make it easy to unload the equipment. Plus it would be otherwise outfitted as a food truck so I can use it at local events. I could also use it as a delivery truck for my frozen products to my wholesale customers.
I’d love to get input on this in general and specifically if someone has thoughts on this type if conversion.
Our food line for the truck would be our gelato and smoked BBQ.
