Just got back from Savannah, GA on yet another of my mini-business trips. Having been disappointed many a times before as to the restaurant scenario there, I explored a bit on my own. I had previously turned down my company’s invitation to http://www.ladyandsons.com for this trip.
Alas, I seemed to have made the right decision as from those who attended the buffet; it was $24.00 per person and the tourista infested establishment only irritated those present. By personal reports to me, the food was sub-par. Whatever.
I found a nice little Cuban Restaurant. Authentic Cuban food; in Savannah. Yes. It was so out of the way it was almost invisible. It was nothing more than a "converted" house. There were probably no more than 10 tables available. Everything totally authentic, though. Prices very reasonable and this was a true RF find.
Being myself, though, I will only post my findings via the forums vs. a full blown review with pics, etc. I brought the menu home with me.
Hopefully I will be able to scan same to this thread ASAP and then further comment on my find.
