This is a kosher deli. They have pastrami, corned beef, etc . sandwiches all sliced thin. The sandwiches are on regular sandwich bread, but they really pile on the meat. I’m not sure if they add anything to it like lettuce or tomato. The meat they pile on make the sandwich at least 3 inches thick.
The real star of the place is the matzo ball soup. The ball is easy to cut with a spoon. That’s the real test for a good matzo ball , IMO.
The only bad thing is the service. It’s almost always run by teenagers behind the counter. Half the time when getting an order, they act like deer in headlights. They get a lot of orders wrong and also don’t know much about the cash register. It takes a while to get an order because they constantly go in the back to get the adult, who I assume is Sam. The deli has been around for decades, but Sam needs to find some adults to work there and improve the service.
Has anyone else been here? What do you think? (Is there a forum for delis????)
