Had to share this one. In a hurry Monday, I went into one of the local Krystal restaurants for a quick lunch. Of course, a Krystal hamburger must be salted. Salt shakers no longer sit on the tables at these restaurants and haven’t for a long time, giving way to salt packets. I went to the counter to get some, and the bin was empty. I asked and was told, "We’re out of salt." How do you run out of salt? In the Civil War maybe, but not in 2007. This restaurant sits not 75 yards from a Food City supermarket and no one had the initiative or good sense to walk across the street and buy salt.
