and then there’s the time and effort and postage i’ll have to put out to send w-9’s to all our customers. 
 
only about 10% of our customers spend under $600 a year, so, that’ll be about 400 forms i’ll have to send out.
 
and, gee, dontcha think those customers that are usually just over the borderline for being required to send 1099 forms out, will curtail their spending so they don’t have to mess with sending forms out?? 
 
yeah, i think they’ll do that.  maybe not the first year this is in place (that’ll only happen if someone is aware of this change and how it’s going to impact them which isn’t usually the case with the small businesses we deal with); it’ll definitely affect our sales the second year this is in place though!
 
gee, thanks!  things are hard enough as is.  sales are down more than a third.  this will knock them down another third, if not more.
