MikeS.- The player you mentioned with three doubles in his first three at bats is Giant 2nd baseman Freddy Sanchez.  This guy is one of the real good guys in sports and he is very easy to root for.  He was born with a club foot and endured several operations and years of physical therapy.  Besides that, he also overcame years of playing for the Pirates.[;)]
