Here in NY a Fox-Cablevision dispute has left us without a fox channel, and without the world series, or NFC football.
One of the things I don’t miss about moving out of the Tri-State area is having to deal with Cablevision…those guys make Enron look good!
Not sure who is the real villain in this case. Fox sounds like they want more than double what they were getting. It also seems this is a test case and if fox gets cablevision to crumble, they are going to put the squeeze on other satellite and cable companies. On the other hand, cablevision is saying how evil Fox is because they won’t submit to an arbitrators decision, yet cablevision and the NFL network have been at a deadlock for a few years now, primarily because cablevision won’t submit the case to arbitration.
Bottom line is the fans of sports and other shows are losing out on what they paid for while a bunch of wealthy people lock horns.
