Another city to consider — Omaha, NE. Johnny’s Cafe, Runza Hut (my favorite), King Fong Cafe (as much for the atmosphere as for the food), B & G Tasty Foods, Joe Tess’ Place, Bohemian Cafe, The Pink Poodle (actually right across the river in Iowa) — Omaha has many great food options.
OMAHA????????[:0] You Gotta be kidding!!!
The most exciting thing to do in Omaha is watch the signs on the insurance company buildings come on at dusk![V]
Wow! Flashback to my Long Island relatives’ reactions when I told them I had moved to Omaha.
Excitement? That is an individual call, and not what this about, anyway – e.g., Buffalo and Rochester – except maybe for the natural wonders of Niagara Falls and the Great Lakes -aren’t hubs of excitement either. But what Omaha and these cities do offer is some wonderful and unique Roadfood.
So, just another consideration thrown into the pot. Heck, I would enjoy revisiting old favorites in Omaha, but I also look forward to trying new Roadfood options in cities I haven’t been to.
