The Atomic Cafe in downtown Lexington is great – it’s Caribbean themed.
Dudley’s is also very good as is the Merrick Inn.
Sam’s Hotdogs downtown is good for a quick bite and has been there forever.
If you’re looking for seafood try Regatta or The Ketch.
I would choose Cheapside Bar and Grill over Desha’s – they’re both downtown.
For a diner experience, Parkette is very nice and nostalgic and you can eat in the diner or be served outside.
For a sit down pizza restaraunt, Joe Bolongna’s is also good.
Columbia’s downtown is good for steaks and burgers.
Sunshine Bakery downtown also has excellent sandwiches.
For Italian, try Guiseppes.
For BBQ – Billy’s.
