Got home early from work so I made a “fancy” cheese steak. I always keep small steaks in the freezer for easy defrosting whenever anyone needs a quick meal. Right now I have a few small filet mignons in there. I defrosted one, fried up some chopped onions and then the steak to a medium rare. I then thin sliced the steak and put it on a buttered and toasted brioche roll along with the onions and some thinly sliced provolone cheese. Very delicious!! And a nice treat!
