Okay–I took the bait and tried the recipe. I added a pinch of salt and some chopped pecans but otherwise followed it, including the chips. Taste-wise it was good, but it had a bizarre texture–at least mine came out that way. Mine also didn’t “fall” and just stayed looking like the following photo. Anyway, it was fun to try. [:)]
Huh. I wonder if it was the salt? Mine had a texture just like regular cake, and of course you can see it fell (which happened almost immediately upon the microwave getting done)…way less crumbly than the other one, too. I’m probably done with these for a while, though, unless I recipe I can’t refuse comes along.
