MH has a grinder but it hasn’t been used in years so I would have to start by tearing it apart, cleaning it, put it back together, use it……..repeat. For 1lb. of ground ham……..I just buy it.
Technically there’s a grinder in my house, too, but it’s one that was my parents’ wedding present (1956) and I’m pretty sure the last time anyone used it was before my dad left in 1978. I’ll talk to my butcher and see if he’ll grind me some next time I’m there. I am now on a ham loaf mission! [:D]
Tonight we’re having leftover cheddar broccoli soup. I got out of work early but I’m cranky and it’s pouring rain/sleet/slush. I may make some crescent rolls (I’ve got a tube), but it’s doubtful.
