I got curious, and made a Kraft Tangy Italian Spaghetti Dinner Kit.
Next time I would save half the spice packet for another time. You mix one can of tomato paste with 2 cans of water then add the spice packet for the sauce.
I cooked it in the microwave, and 3 cups of salted water cooked the pasta and gave me 2 cans of pasta water when it was done. Perfetto!
I added a jar of sliced mushrooms that had been drained and rinsed a few times, and I also added Gardein crumbles. I know the doc and renal dietician said I can have real meat now, but Gardein is so nice and quick, I think I will keep using it.
