I love those Kraft boxed spaghetti kits! Instead of tomato paste and water I always use a 15 ounce can of tomato sauce. I also usually use actual Parmesan instead of the powdered stuff from the envelope, but not always. It’s like anything else… I can surely make a pan of macaroni and cheese, but I also periodically enjoy eating the kind from a box. It’s quick, easy, and tastes good.
Tonight I made something Eating Well called Chicken Saltimbocca. Other than adding the rest of the mushrooms I didn’t use on yesterday’s pizza, I did what they said. It’s really good! Although I won’t spring for prosciutto next time…you can’t taste it and it’s expensive. Served with more bag salad (I ended up with Catalina dressing) and giant bowls of fruit crack.
