I roasted a chicken yesterday and served it with loaded baked potatoes and an iceberg, tomato and cucumber salad topped with shredded cheddar. Neither of us want dressing when there’s cheddar involved.
Tonight was Chicken Tetrazzini from my old-fashioned Betty Crocker recipe. I’m very grateful to still have the first cookbook I bought, because in checking the spelling for Tetrazzini, I pulled up the current recipe on the Betty Crocker website. It now calls for canned cream of mushroom soup and no wine is harmed in the recipe. [huh]
