Thanks mar and lee. The original dinner was going to be cotoletta melanzane (rounds of breaded, fried eggplant), a side of spaghetti with San Marzano plum tomato sauce and a green salad. But the cantaloupe was ready to eat and I had prosciutto so that got added. Then we were having this beautiful evening and I didn’t want to leave the front porch and be messing around breading and frying eggplant, making the sauce, washing lettuce…..so we ended up with the bucatini alla Norma because I was too lazy to make the other!!! Oh, the eggplants were $1.00 EACH at Kroger!
