I still remember a friend who brought a “Key Lime” pie to a Thanksgiving potluck as a predinner desert. To be polite, we all had to take a slice and since we were right in front of her, eat it with ‘yummy’ sounds. It didn’t taste BAD but it sure was as GREEN as heck and had a meringue that didn’t quite stretch.. It had snapped back in transport, evidently.. Hmm. It was nice of her to go to the trouble and share it with us. lets leave it at that.
