Root-Beer Man… It was delciously luscious. Very creamy rich.
There were six of us and it was served family style. The website says it’s Israeli. Sure it is.
I guess you could label that repast “Israeli”. I lived there for a few years and saw many types of food, (they’re a huge melting pot of food styles, amazingly enough), and all those look reasonably familiar to me. I love breads with za’atar, they’re just so tasty. One thing that they had on your spread that I never did see in Israel though is the uni, even though urchins are all over the place in their part of the Med.
