I never buy Italian wedding soup in a can…the meatballs are bread crumb mush. I made it for dinner two nights ago in a giant pasta pot,,,enough for 4 to eat several large bowls…and plenty for lunch leftovers…and with fresh chop meat and a quick broth from our costco chicken leftovers,,,it was still very ,very cheap compared to if I opened up 15 or so cans of the stuff……and the taste is so far superior for anbout 15 minutes of prep time and about a half hour on the simmer. Some crusty Italian bread and wine and yiu’ve got a cheap treat…I prefer cans of good lobster bisque…now I’m not buying those ingredients and making that one!
