It seems I recall it being canned but I’m not sure as I haven’t had it for years. It’s called Spanish bean or alternatively Garbanzo bean soup. It’s a tomato base with some chunks of potato along with the beans and also pieces of sausage (probably Chorizo) . Used to get it in Tampa at any number of places but most often in a Cuban sandwich place. I don’t believe it’s a Cuban recipe though, it’s probably Spanish. Delicious stuff!
