That would have been before your time, I lived in Venice in ’74. I’m wondering if it wasn’t maybe in Culver City. I know I walked to the place, because I didn’t have a car and walked nearly everywhere the Santa Monica buses didn’t go. The RTD was on a 7 month strike.

I’m going to try to find out what the place was. It had typical coffee shop fare, but with things like chopped liver, kishka, kugel, etc. Sort of like Benjie’s in Orange County, only better.
