I lived on ketchup and American cheese sandwiches for the entire summer I was nine.
Apparently Rolaids are not mints, and you should not snack on them.
I used to eat raw green beans, peas, potatoes, corn, brussels sprouts, and asparagus out of the garden, but wouldn’t touch any of them once they’d been cooked. (Still prefer green beans raw, actually.)
I LOVED pickled anything (including the pickles on McDonald’s burgers, which we rarely got)…beets, green beans, carrots, cucumbers, cauliflower, green tomatoes, pears, peaches, and red cabbage were the most commonly available at my house. I still have no willpower when it comes to pickled stuff.
