Thanks to all of you for your recommendations on eating places. We tried the following: Gingerbread Man and Dobbin House Tavern in Gettysburg, and The Dutch Kitchen in Frackville. They were all good. Two WONDERFUL places we found were Haystacks in Wilkes-Barre and The Meating House in Drums. They were both excellent. The Meating House was so good that it would almost be worth the 6 or 7 hundred mile drive just to eat there again! My husband had the best filet he has ever had and my seafood stew was as good as any I’ve had anywhere! It is located off E. Butler Drive which is off 309-it’s sort of hard to find-but well worth it!!
