the ancient mariner
M Brooks it is a crime that old—blind—men have to make a living running up and down like that.
I understand the greatest stick-ball player of all time was “Say Hey”
Willie Mays the second best baseball player i ever saw. Just a step behind Jackie Robinson.
Willie would play on the streets of Harlem with the kids. He was a 4 sewer guy. Or was it man-hole covers—-well anyhow he was great. He could really hit that old
spall-dean with the broom stick.
I stood in the spot where Willie caught that Vic Wertz flyball in the Series. I could hardly see second base and Willie threw the ball all the way while whirling and not even looking. Amazing play, amazing player !!!!
