Sometimes I add cornmeal to the waffle mix instead of some of the flour and add cooked ground sausage, diced jalapeno’s and shredded cheddar cheese. This makes a great savory waffle…Russ

I wouldn’t know about that IHOP place, but I’m sure you could get them to top your waffle with sausage gravy at the Waffle House — probably with the sausage gravy charge added.
