I almost had one today but then I remembered I didn’t like the one I had 4 or 5 years ago. What I did have was one of their thoroughly disgusting “angus” burgers. I’m sure I would have been better off with the Mcrib.

 
Having had both of them, you are correct in your assumption. Those angus burgers taste like what I would imagine space-age reconstituted hamburger pills (just add water) like on The Jetsons, would taste like.
